To promote the principles of sustainability and undertake quality improvement projects.
May 2021, it has become a clinical pillar of governance.
The team interacts with all groups within SWLEOC including:
- outpatients;
- theatres;
- management;
- administration;
- radiography;
- therapy; and
- research
A designated number from each team attends the meeting.

Encouraging regular attendance from various departments.
Regular email, involvement in projects requiring regular feedback.
- Consider the capacity, capability and motivational factors for change;
- teams may be under increased pressure due to peripheral demands and give a lower priority to sustainability;
- motivation comes from involving teams, giving them goals, and involving people in submission to quality improvement meetings.
- Regular, frequent meetings;
- engage with the team members;
- involve them in quality improvement;
- meet submissions.
- Having regular staff meetings;
- involving fellows in projects to collect data – setting a standard;
- Fellows can use these projects for submission;
- involving others (e.g., ward staff) in mini projects;
- asking people to help;
- developing a collaborative culture where staff are encouraged to share their ideas at meetings.
